The TU Graz implemented an interesting and successful change management project „Leading Women – Shaping the future“, which focuses on the challenges regarding the leaky pipeline phenomena. The project members are renowned female scientists who are being supported in their further career path.
The project measures are focusing on supporting the scientists in their positions and furthermore this project initiates a cultural change regarding equal opportunities and diversity at the TU Graz. After a three year project period first achievements can be confirmed in a significant increase of female scientists in leadership positions.
One of the project measures is the “Leading Women Salon” which allows role models from the industry, government and science to interact closely with the project members and pass on valuable career experiences. On the 18th of October the federal minister Sophie Karmasin will allow a personal and profound insight in her career development.
The “Leading Women” project will be carried out until the end of 2016. Long term and sustainable achievements regarding an increase of female scientist in leadership positions and an attainment of the legal female quote are expected.
This event can be attended by invitation only.
